Currently supported platforms

Easy ports to solaris sparc/linux powerpc are possible, as the UNO component model is also available for these platforms.

STLport-4.5 for gcc 3.0.x
STLport-4.0 for gcc 2.95.x and MS windows compiler
( http://www.stlport.org, see older versions )
gnu make version 3.79.1 ( ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/make ) or later (in general already available on unix systems ( try make -version) ). I have prepared a prebuilt binary for windows.
The uno or office development kit
for the MS windows compiler : http://uno-servlets.sourceforge.net/bin/odk641C_win32intel.zip
(This file is simply mirrored from www.openoffice.org, the download location there changes quite frequently).
For linux with gcc2 compilers : http://uno-servlets.sourceforge.net/bin/udk3.0.1-gcc2.tar.gz
For linux with gcc3 compilers : http://uno-servlets.sourceforge.net/bin/udk3.0.1-gcc3.tar.gz
( Note: The linux versions were built by myself with the OpenOffice 1.0.1 sourcetree. Reason are some problems with exception handling on linux, which can lead to crashes. Additionally I had to apply a patch for a crash, which occurs in case the proc file system cannot be read, according to the LGPL, I need to provide the patch file for the source, it can be downloaded from here.
These linux dev kits contain only the core idl-files, such are not a complete office development kit. However, this is sufficient for the UNO core. )

At least one webserver is needed to use this package.
